With an intense black cherry colour and youthful purple rim, this well-balanced wine is bursting with aromas of brambleberry and red cherry. With hints of spice and vanilla on the nose, lively acidity, and soft tannins, this medium-bodied wine can be enjoyed right away, but will mature for at least three years. Adding to its complexity, at least 30% of this blend comes from our complex, wild-yeast, barrel fermented Pinotage, sourced from predominantly older vines.
This wine will make a perfect accompaniment to a salmon or tuna sushi platter, or enjoy it with spaghetti bolognaise, charcuterie or Emmentaler cheese.
Boasting an intense, ruby-red colour, this perfumed wine offers forthcoming aromas of white pepper, mulberry, prune, and liquorice, with lingering hints of cinnamon, clove and cardamom. Ready to be enjoyed immediately, this wine will mature for at least three to five years. Created entirely from estate-grown grapes, some varieties in this blend are wild-yeast fermented in oak, while others are fermented in stainless steel tanks, showcasing the optimally ripe, fruit characters of each varietal.
Enjoy this wine with porcini mushroom and truffle risotto, or grilled steak with a creamy pepper sauce.
This youthful, medium-bodied, ruby-hued wine boasts intense aromas of plum and mulberry, with notes of pepper, eucalyptus and sweet vanilla, while fresh acidity and modest tannins lend subtlety and elegance. In our cellar, hand-harvested Shiraz grapes are crushed before fermenting for approximately seven days. Juice is then drawn off on skins to enhance colour and flavour intensity, after which this wine is matured in American oak to complement its fruity character.
Ideal for enjoying with any red meat, our Signature Shiraz pairs well with mushroom risotto, or pasta dishes with a ham-and-mushroom sauce.
