We are also exploring the restoration of traditional waterways to support local wildlife and mitigate localised flooding.
We've implemented solar power on the farm and are actively exploring the use of biogas digesters for sustainable cooling solutions. To maintain ecological balance, we've introduced the appropriate animals and herd sizes, collaborating with specialized tertiary institutions to manage these efforts effectively. Concurrently, we’re working with other dedicated institutions to identify and protect endangered (red-listed) plants in and around Alvi’s Drift.
In our vineyards, we've deployed a revolutionary underground irrigation system on two blocks of vines, with plans to expand this system further to enhance water efficiency and sustainability.
Our sustainability efforts extend beyond the vineyards. As of 2024, we have begun using lightweight glass for bottling our Signature range wines and plan to expand this practice across our other tiers, significantly reducing the carbon footprint associated with glass production.
We believe that our commitment to true sustainability is embodied in each step we take to protect and preserve our environment for future generations.
MOREWe’re a proud part of the greater community and committed to shaping a better future for our people, our industry and our planet.
