1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Alvi’s Drift Wines.
2. Competition Overview
The Alvi’s Drift 221 “Share Your 221 Moment” weekly giveaway invites participants to share their personal 221 moment for a chance to win one mixed case of Alvi’s Drift 221 wine.
Participants may enter either on social media by using the official competition hashtag #The221Game, or on the Alvi’s Drift website by completing the official competition entry form.
One winner will be selected each week during the competition period.
3. Competition Period
The competition will run from 18 June 2026 to 23 August 2026 unless extended, shortened, suspended, or cancelled by Alvi’s Drift Wines.
Entries will be grouped into weekly draw periods. Each weekly draw period will open on 08:00AM and close on 17:00PM unless otherwise stated in the competition communication.
Weekly winners will be announced on a Sunday.
Entries received after the closing time for a specific weekly draw may, at the discretion of Alvi’s Drift Wines, be entered into the following weekly draw, provided the competition is still running.
4. Eligibility
This competition is open to South African residents only.
Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry. By entering this competition, participants confirm that they are of legal drinking age in South Africa.
Employees, directors, agents, suppliers, promotional partners, or immediate family members of Alvi’s Drift Wines, or anyone professionally connected to this competition, may not enter.
5. How To Enter
Participants can enter the competition in one of the following ways:
Social Media Entry
Participants may enter on social media by sharing their 221 moment and using the official competition hashtag, The221Game.
Entries may be submitted on selected social media platforms where the competition is promoted by Alvi’s Drift Wines.
To ensure a social media entry can be seen and verified, the participant’s post or profile must be public for the duration of the relevant weekly competition period.
Website Entry
Participants may also enter through the official Alvi’s Drift website by completing and submitting the competition entry form.
Only complete, visible, and valid entries will be considered.
Multiple entries may be allowed, provided each entry is original and submitted in line with these terms and conditions.
No purchase is necessary to enter, unless otherwise clearly stated in the competition campaign material.
6. Prize
Each weekly winner will receive one mixed case of Alvi’s Drift 221 wine.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
Alvi’s Drift Wines reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize become unavailable for any reason.
7. Winner Selection
A weekly draw will take place from valid entries received during the relevant weekly draw period.
The winner will be selected at the discretion of Alvi’s Drift Wines.
The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the competition or draw.
8. Winner Notification
Alvi’s Drift Wines will make reasonable attempts to notify the selected winner using the contact details or platform available from their entry. This may include phone calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, SMSs, or social media direct messages.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the contact details provided are correct and that their social media account allows Alvi’s Drift Wines to contact them directly.
If a selected winner cannot be reached, does not respond, or fails to provide the required information within 3 days of the first notification attempt, the winner will forfeit the prize, and Alvi’s Drift Wines reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
The selected winner may be required to provide proof of identity, age, and South African residency before the prize is awarded.
9. Delivery Of Prize
The prize will only be delivered within South Africa.
The winner must provide accurate delivery details. Alvi’s Drift Wines will not be responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the winner.
Alcohol will not be delivered to any person under the age of 18.
10. Use Of Entries, Names & Content
By entering this competition, participants grant Alvi’s Drift Wines permission to use their submitted answer, story, name, and/or social media handle for marketing, promotional, social media, website, and publicity purposes, without additional payment or compensation.
Alvi’s Drift Wines may edit submitted entries for grammar, length, clarity, or formatting, provided the original meaning is not materially changed.
Participants confirm that their entry is their own original submission and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Alvi’s Drift Wines reserves the right not to publish, share, or accept any entry that it considers offensive, inappropriate, unlawful, misleading, harmful, or unsuitable for the brand.
11. Marketing Consent & Personal Information
By submitting a website entry form, participants may be asked to provide personal information such as their name, email address, phone number, and other details required to administer the competition.
Where participants provide their contact details and give the required consent, they agree that Alvi’s Drift Wines may contact them occasionally by email, WhatsApp, SMS, or similar communication channels for marketing and promotional purposes.
Participants may unsubscribe or opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link, opt-out instructions, or by contacting Alvi’s Drift Wines directly.
Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable South African privacy laws, including the Protection of Personal Information Act.
12. Responsible Drinking
This competition promotes alcoholic beverages and is strictly intended for persons aged 18 years and older.
Alvi’s Drift Wines encourages responsible drinking.
Not for persons under the age of 18.
13. Platform Disclaimer
This competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, or any other social media platform.
By entering, participants release these platforms from any responsibility or liability relating to the competition.
14. Disqualification
Alvi’s Drift Wines reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:
- provides false or misleading information;
- is found to be under the age of 18;
- is not a South African resident;
- submits offensive, inappropriate, unlawful, misleading, harmful, or unsuitable content;
- attempts to manipulate or interfere with the competition process;
- and/or breaches these terms and conditions.
15. Changes, Suspension & Cancellation
Alvi’s Drift Wines reserves the right to amend, suspend, and/or cancel the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, technical issues, fraud, legal requirements, or any other reason that may compromise the fairness or proper administration of the competition.
16. Limitation Of Liability
Alvi’s Drift Wines will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, and/or disappointment suffered by any participant as a result of entering the competition, being selected as a winner, accepting the prize, or using the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Alvi’s Drift Wines will not be responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, incorrectly submitted, not visible due to social media privacy settings, or not received for any reason.

By entering this competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
